Microsoft Office 365: An Introduction

Microsoft has been one of the biggest tech companies in the world that has been in the business for a couple of decades now, and has provided the most used office softwares and services to millions of people and businesses all over the world. And as technology continues to evolve through the years to provide mankind with continuously improving devices and services, Microsoft has also improved its products and services, while also expanding their business to create more useful programs and increase the applicability of their products in other devices and not just computers.

From the usual office suit that a huge percentage of businesses today use in their daily productivity, Microsoft has now released a bigger version called Office 365, which incorporates the use of cloud services for better integration with other internet-based applications that can help with office productivity. Unlike its predecessors, however, Office 365 is not just aimed at corporate users. Because of its cloud services, Office 365 can cater to more general users that need more than just office tools to get things done, and can even be used to add applications for recreation in case it is needed. Office 365 is available through a subscription service, with its components manageable on a single portal online using an Office 365 login to make it easier for users to configure the many applications that can be integrated with it. Users can also be added, so each device user gets their own access which will enable them to organize their files better.

Microsoft 365 also comes in different subscription plans to suit the different productivity needs of businesses today. There are plans for educational institutions, families, corporate businesses, government use, and enterprise use, all of which has an amount of users allowed, with the other plans allowing an unlimited number of users. These plans can also be mixed and changed depending on the type chosen, although the amount of users allowed cannot be changed in general. Plans commonly include a range of services and softwares that have been included in previous versions, like the Office 365 email, Share Point, and even some social networking sites that are allowed by companies. The flexibility of the programs within the subscription plans makes it easier for users to choose and customize the services they will get so that none of the inclusive packages will be left unused, although the services offered may also vary per country.
